The value of what is #MadeInMexico

A few years ago we tried to defend our economy under the slogan that what is done in Mexico is well done, and although for a long time we have had a very bad conception of Mexican work, Trump’s constant attacks on us remind us of the value of contributions Mexicans to the United States and the world, so we must keep in mind that the well-being of our families depends largely on the value we give to our work, and the effort we put into everything we do because it is our letter of introduction to the world.

This effort to position our country has had its ups and downs in recent months, and will surely become more complicated, which is why the Presidency relaunched the #Made in Mexico seal, as a collaborative effort with the Confederation of Industrial Chambers, for an incentive that favors the competitiveness of national products.

We always say that you have to buy national products, and although it is not always easy, we must take into account that the best way to support employment is to acquire products that we know are produced in our country.

It should be clarified that the #Made in Mexico brand does not mean that the products are from Mexican companies, but that they are made in Mexico, this is not necessarily negative, in reality the more complex the manufacture of a product such as a television or a car is. , requires that the manufacture and import of its parts come from many countries, this shows how well integrated our country is in the world economy. So it is not out of the question that when you have to choose between two products, choose the one that has the #Made in Mexico logo.

On the other hand, if you want your product or the products of your company to have the #Made in Mexico logo, you only have to request it at the Ministry of Economy, it can be marked, printed and reproduced on the containers or packaging of those expressly authorized products.

To obtain authorization, go to the service window of the Delegation or Sub-delegation of the Ministry of Economy closest to your home to obtain the authorization request form free of charge. Fill out the format and attach the corresponding documents, the Ministry of Economy will notify you of the response in a maximum of five business days, or may ask you to clarify information or documents that are incomplete. Once you are informed of the authorization, you can go to www.sinec.gob.mx/SINEC/ to download the logo file and the Graphic Identity Manual, which shows you the correct use of the logo.

Remember that for the use of the #Made in Mexico seal:

It is required to have authorization from the Ministry of Economy, if it is used without said authorization there is a sanction consisting of a fine, in terms of the Industrial Property Law.
It is important to mention that even when the logo is authorized, it cannot be used in flyers, since it can only be marked, printed and reproduced on the containers or packaging of those expressly authorized products. It may also be marked, printed or reproduced on the product or its label when, according to its characteristics, it does not have a container or packaging.
The logo must be used according to its rules of use in its size, colors and proportion, so it must be seen clearly, legible and indelible on the products, its composition cannot be modified or used in isolation.
Keep in mind that the #Made in Mexico logo is just another drawing on the packaging if consumers do not give it value, the importance of the seal is proportional to our effort to acquire products made by Mexican hands, because this encourages the growth of companies that manufacture their products in our country, and consequently the creation of new jobs.
